A Café and Restaurant in Kerobokan, Bali is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Sous Chef (Full Time)

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Chef to design, develop and refine the menu
  • Act as a vital support to the Chef in daily kitchen operations as well as ensuring smooth and efficient service during busy periods
  • Oversee the implementation and management of the to-go concept for the downstairs area
  • Lead and manage the kitchen team in the Chef's absence as well as providing guidance, support and direction to ensure that all kitchen operations run smoothly
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe kitchen environment as well as adhering to all health and safety regulations
  • Monitor and uphold the quality of food preparation and presentation as well as ensuring consistency and adherence to the restaurant's standards

 

 

Requirements:

  • Indonesian citizen
  • Excellent in written and spoken English communication
  • Proven experience working as a Sous Chef or in a similar role
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Familiarity with Japanese cuisine would be a plus
  • Strong management knowledge and experience
