We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Private Chef (Chef de Partie level) to join a private household in Umalas. This role requires a strong background in Western cuisine, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality, nutritious meals in a family-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare high-quality Western dishes with consistent execution (breakfast, lunch, and meal prep for later meals)
• Plan and design weekly menus that are balanced, practical, and family-friendly
• Support daily nutrition by creating healthier meal options (high-protein, balanced carbohydrates and fats, and vegetable-focused dishes)
• Manage meal preparation processes including proper cooling, storage, labeling, and portioning
• Source high-quality ingredients and maintain cost efficiency while managing pantry and stock levels
• Ensure strict hygiene and food safety standards, including cross-contamination prevention, temperature control, and cleanliness (especially for baby meals)
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Senior Line Cook in high-end, high-volume Western restaurants in Bali
• Strong knowledge of Western cuisine with solid technical fundamentals (proteins, sauces, grilling/roasting, seafood handling, and meal prep systems)
• High standards of hygiene aligned with international food safety practices
• Experience or confidence in preparing meals for babies/toddlers with strict hygiene and nutrition considerations
• Good command of English (able to communicate menus, dietary needs, and instructions clearly)
• Professional, reliable, and calm personality with the ability to work in a family environment
