A Furniture Company in Yogyakarta is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Merchandiser and Operations Assistant (Full-time)
Responsibilities:
- Handle and oversee all delivery orders as well as ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Manage and track orders with suppliers for furniture, homewares, packaging and materials
- Maintain a comprehensive overview of ongoing orders as well as ensuring deadlines are met and issues are resolved promptly
- Coordinate delivery timelines and address any delays proactively
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers for effective communication and reliable partnerships
- Perform general administrative duties, including filing, copying, scanning and data entry
- Organize and maintain office supplies, ensuring inventory records are updated
- Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing reports and handling correspondence
- Prepare the meeting room for client interactions, ensuring it is clean, organized and well-stocked
- Act as a welcoming point of contact for clients during visits or calls
Requirements:
- Indonesian citizen
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Proven experience working as a Merchandiser, Operations Assistant or in a related position
- Proven experience in the furniture industry with knowledge of furniture production processes, materials or logistics.
- Experience in leadership, document management, and administrative tasks
- Familiarity with inventory management systems (e.g., CIN7) would be a plus
- Strong organizational skills with sharp attention to details
- Solution-oriented mindset, capable of addressing challenges effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Google Workspace tools
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to work long-term
- Problem-solver with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
