A Steakhouse Restaurant in Sanur, Bali is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Head Chef (Full-time)

Requirements:

  • Indonesian citizen
  • Good written and verbal communication in English
  • Proven experience working as a Head Chef or in a related position 
  • Proven experience working in a steakhouse or grill restaurant
  • Expertise in grilling and cooking steaks to various doneness levels
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation regulations
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook steak dishes to specified doneness levels (Rare, Medium-Rare, Medium, etc.)
  • Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation
  • Develop and maintain consistent recipes and portion standards
  • Supervise kitchen staff and provide training on food preparation and safety procedures
  • Manage inventory, ordering supplies and controlling food costs
  • Ensure hygiene and cleanliness standards are met according to regulations
