A Dive Center in Bira, Sulawesi Selatan is looking for a talented and enthusiastic General Supervisor (Full-time)
Responsibilities:
- Respond to inquiries from customers through WhatsApp and walk-ins
- Oversee the customer experience including handling check-ins and check-outs and addressing any issues or requests in between
- Manage a team of local staff, starting with 3 employees and expand to a larger team during high season
- Develop and oversee staff schedules as well as ensuring sufficient coverage
- Provide guidance, training and support to staff to maintain high service standards
- Manage reservations and bookings efficiently, ensuring seamless customer experiences
- Handle payment processing and maintain accurate records of transactions
- Prepare for high and low seasons, adjusting staffing and resources as needed
- Work with the owner to develop solutions for logistical challenges such as accommodation for staff
- Assist the client in establishing and managing a restaurant
Requirements:
- Indonesian citizen
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Proven experience working as an Operations Manager or in a related position
- Proven experience managing restaurant operations with the ability to oversee both front-of-house and back-of-house activities
- Familiarity with managing bookings and payments using online or digital systems
- Strong organizational and leadership skills to manage and motivate a growing team
