A Coffee Shop Company in Petitenget, Bali is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Corporate Chef (Full-time)
Responsibilities:
· Develop and evaluate menu items that align with the company’s brand standards and customer preferences
· Ensure consistency and quality in all dishes
· Provide guidance on the development of new recipes and ensure innovation within the menu
· Work closely with the Head Chef to establish standard operating procedures for menu preparation, food quality and presentation
· Ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety standards including cleanliness, sanitation and food storage
· Conduct regular audits to maintain high kitchen and food quality standards
· Monitor food costs and ensure that menu items meet the desired food cost percentage (COGS) while maintaining quality
· Collaborate with the purchasing department to source the best ingredients and manage inventory effectively
· Manage kitchen staff and empower the Head Chef to independently recruit, train and evaluate kitchen personnel
· Ensure operational efficiency by managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
- Indonesian citizen
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Proven experience working as a Corporate Chef or in a related position
- Strong culinary skills with expertise in Australian and Western cuisines
- Experience with menu development, cost control and kitchen management
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations including HACCP and sanitation standards
- Strong leadership abilities and the ability to empower Head Chefs to lead their teams independently
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
