A Cheese Company in Dalung, Bali is looking for an enthusiastic Cook/Kitchen Staff/Cheesemaker Apprentice (Full-time)
Responsibilities:
- Learn and perform all aspects of cheese production including milk processing, curd cutting, moulding, brining and ageing
- Follow standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and high-quality cheese production
- Monitor and record critical control points throughout the cheese-making process
- Participate in tasting sessions to assess cheese quality and flavor profiles
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot production issues and implement process improvements
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to mastering the craft of cheese-making
- Maintain a lab-like clean environment in all cheese-making areas
- Participate actively in cleaning and sanitation tasks to uphold high hygiene standards
- Work effectively in a team environment to meet production goals and quality standards
Requirements:
- Indonesian citizen
- Excellent in English
- Proven experience working as a Kitchen Staff or in a related position
- Proven culinary skills with food hygiene training; certification in Food Technology or a related field would be a plus
- Genuine passion for cheese and a desire to learn the art of cheese-making
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products
- High level of health and fitness
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
