A Cheese Company in Dalung, Bali is looking for an enthusiastic Cook/Kitchen Staff/Cheesemaker Apprentice (Full-time)

Responsibilities:

  • Learn and perform all aspects of cheese production including milk processing, curd cutting, moulding, brining and ageing
  • Follow standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and high-quality cheese production
  • Monitor and record critical control points throughout the cheese-making process
  • Participate in tasting sessions to assess cheese quality and flavor profiles
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot production issues and implement process improvements
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to mastering the craft of cheese-making
  • Maintain a lab-like clean environment in all cheese-making areas
  • Participate actively in cleaning and sanitation tasks to uphold high hygiene standards
  • Work effectively in a team environment to meet production goals and quality standards


Requirements:

  • Indonesian citizen
  • Excellent in English
  • Proven experience working as a Kitchen Staff or in a related position
  • Proven culinary skills with food hygiene training; certification in Food Technology or a related field would be a plus
  • Genuine passion for cheese and a desire to learn the art of cheese-making
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products
  • High level of health and fitness
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
