A Property Company in Bali is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Lawyer (Part-time, Remote)
Responsibilities:
- Review all legal documentation related to land ownership and sale & purchase transactions in Sumbawa
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian property laws and regulations
- Identify potential legal risks and provide recommendations to mitigate them
- Draft and standardize legal templates for land transactions, agreements and supporting documents
- Prepare and review contracts such as Sale & Purchase Agreements (SPA), lease agreements and other legal instruments
- Ensure all documentation aligns with current legal standards and business practices
- Coordinate and liaise with client-appointed lawyers for each transaction
- Work closely with notaries (PPAT), agents and internal teams to ensure smooth transaction processes
- Act as a legal point of contact for any transaction-related matters
- Provide guidance on Leasehold agreements, PKKPR (land utilization approvals) and zoning regulations, Power of Attorney (POA) documentation and Basic structures involving PMA companies and KITAS
- Support the team with general legal insights related to real estate and foreign ownership structures
Requirements:
- Indonesian citizen
- Proven working experience as a Lawyer or in a similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Proven experience handling real estate or land transactions in Indonesia
- Strong understanding of Indonesian property law and regulations
