A restaurant in Canggu is looking for a Junior Sous Chef!


Requirements:

· Indonesian citizen

· Excellent written and verbal communication in English

· Proven experience working as a Junior Sous Chef or in a related position

· Strong culinary skills with expertise in a variety of cuisines.

· Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health regulations

· Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively

·  Strong communication and interpersonal skills


Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef on menu planning and recipe development

· Provide input for creating innovative and seasonal menu items

· Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation

· Lead and motivate kitchen staff, ensuring a positive work environment

· Train new staff on kitchen operations, recipes and food safety standards

· Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards

· Monitor kitchen cleanliness and maintenance

· Address issues related to food preparation, kitchen operations or team performance promptly
